YES! Many folks keep trophy skulls with the tusks still affixed to them. The best way to prepare the skull is simply to put it in a bucket of bleach and let the bleach do the rest. Give it a few days in there for all of the soft material to fall off and dissolve then simply remove the skull. The bleach also helps give the skull that off white coloring everyone has seen in animal skulls in museums or other mounts.
When a hog skull has tusks, they totally enhance the look of the skull mount. Don’t waste the tusk or skull, they make great trophies!
