Are wild pigs dangerous?

Wild pigs, also known as feral hogs or wild boars, can be dangerous due to their size, strength, and sometimes aggressive behavior. Unfortunately, as the population continues to grow in the American South, humans and wild pigs are going to continue to come into contact with one another regularly. They can pose a threat to humans, pets, and livestock, especially if they feel threatened or cornered. It’s best to avoid encounters with them and to be cautious if you come across one in the wild, unless you are hunting them of course. Hunting them of course is highly recommend, otherwise we wouldn’t have this website.
