What State has the most wild hogs?

As of my last update in January 2022, Texas has been reported to have the largest population of wild hogs in the United States. The feral hog population in Texas has become a significant issue due to their destructive impact on crops, property, and ecosystems.

Of course, I love Florida’s Pigs the most, but Texas has the most by sheer population numbers. I must admit though I have always heard that Alabama has the biggest pigs. I have routinely seen huge pigs from various feeders from friends in Alabama However, populations of wild hogs can be found in many other states across the southern and southeastern regions of the U.S. as well, including states like Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, and others.
